The commercial team at Lord’s approached us to design and build a contemporary WordPress website to showcase the value of partnering with the world’s most famous cricket ground. Their existing materials didn’t fully communicate the scale of the venue, the audiences they reach or the quality of the experiences on offer. Working closely with the team, we created a bespoke one-page site that combines elegant editorial layouts with bold animated moments, giving partners a clear, engaging overview of why Lord’s is such a powerful place to collaborate with.

Design and build a one-page scrolling website with lots of creative animated elements and sections.

The website needed to support the commercial team in showcasing the key benefits of partnering with Lord’s Cricket Ground and prompting potential partners to start a conversation. We were asked to design and develop a one-page scrolling experience that could carry a rich mix of content — from brand storytelling and audience stats to social proof and testimonials — without feeling overwhelming.

The design had to be modern and creative while retaining a refined, editorial feel that reflects both the heritage of the Lord’s brand and its relevance to contemporary partners. Animation, video and interactive elements were all part of the brief, but the experience still needed to feel effortless and intuitive for busy decision-makers.

We designed and developed a custom WordPress website that fully embraces the potential of a one-page scrolling journey. The layout opens with an animated hero section and a dynamic navigation bar that helps users move smoothly between key sections, keeping the story focused and easy to follow.

As visitors scroll, the site reveals a sequence of distinctive content blocks: a gallery, a horizontally scrolling timeline, animated statistics and a live social feed, each with its own interaction pattern before returning to the main vertical flow. A custom interactive map highlights different countries and member types, while video backgrounds and pop-ups with embedded Vimeo content bring the atmosphere of Lord’s to life.

The end result is a modern, visually compelling partnerships website that offers an immersive experience without sacrificing clarity - giving the Lord’s commercial team a powerful digital tool to support conversations with new and existing partners.
